What currencies can I trade in?
Trade is conducted in the local currency of the respective market. For example, trades in the U.S. market are settled in USD, while trades in the Singapore market are settled in SGD. The applicable trading currency will depend on the market in which you place your order.
If the foreign exchange is closed for holiday and I submit an order, will my order be rejected?
No. Orders submitted during a foreign exchange holiday will be processed for submission on the next trading day. You may check the status of your orders under the “Order List” tab
Are there any restrictions on transactions involving certain foreign securities?
Yes. Transactions involving securities linked to Israel may be subject to regulatory and internal restrictions. This includes shares issued by Israeli-incorporated companies, their direct subsidiaries, securities with ISINs starting with "IL", and ETFs that provide direct exposure to Israeli companies.
Are there situations where a securities transaction may be restricted or rejected?
Yes. The Bank and/or Custodian may restrict, suspend, or reject securities transactions that are subject to regulatory requirements or internal policies, including securities linked to restricted jurisdictions including from Israeli, restricted currencies, or specified persons.
Can I submit Good-till-Date (GTD) orders for FIS trading?
The GTD order function is currently not available for FIS trading until further notice.
How can I place trade if the FIS online trading system is unavailable?
In the event that the FIS online trading system is temporarily unavailable, you may place your orders through your Dealer's Representative (DR) or Remisier via telephone. Our team will assist you in executing your trades to ensure minimal disruption to your trading activities.
